In a post-game interview following the Milwaukee Bucks' loss to the Houston Rockets, Giannis Antetokounmpo interrupted his teammate Damian Lillard by teasing him about his connection to GloRilla.
In the interview, Damian was reflecting on his performance in the game when Giannis loudly started rapping the lyrics to GloRilla and Sexyy Red's "Whatchu Kno About Me" in the background. "Big G-L-O in that GLE," he rapped as Damian laughed and shook his head. "This dude is crazy, man," he said before trying to get back on track. Some of his teammates could be heard laughing in the background as Giannis rapped a little more and shouted, "I knew it, I knew it!"
In February of last year, GloRilla expressed interest in Lillard when she shared a picture of them together on the site formerly known as Twitter. "Who n***a dis is? Cause I want him," she wrote. "Whoever she is can't whoop me so I really dgaf." Months before that, Damian filed for divorce from wife Kay-La Lillard, with whom he shares three children.
When the 25-year-old rapper was arrested on a DUI charge later in the year, Kay-La shared the news and added, "Free GloLillard #Sisterwife." GloRilla took the comment in stride and shared a video of her rocking a #0 'GloLillard' jersey. When asked about GloRilla shooting her shot in September of last year, Lillard declined to comment.
“I'm weak. That is hilarious,” Lillard said when interviewed by TMZ. “Nah, I keep my personal life personal, you know? And I let it be that. I respect her as an artist. We know each other, she's an artist, I'm an artist. But as far as anything else, it ain't nothing going on. That's what I can tell you."
