Stefon Diggs is breaking his silence on Cardi B and giving a glimpse into where things stand between them now.
As seen in a video shared by TMZ, the 32-year-old wide receiver was asked if he was still in a relationship with Cardi, 33, following a tense exchange outside of a Maryland coffee shop last month.
“That's a beautiful, talented mother, and I love her to death,” Diggs answered. “You have to ask her."
When asked about the incident, Diggs clarified, “I don’t think that was arguing. You didn’t see me, like, saying anything.”
When the photographer noted that Cardi was visibly upset in the footage while Diggs maintained his composure, he responded with: “That’s okay, women get like that sometimes.”
He maintained that things are “great” between them now, making his first public comments on the incident since the clip went viral.
Not long after the video went viral, Cardi joked about the incident on her X account, writing, “Sometimes I forget l'm a celebrity... damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?”
Cardi previously joked on social media that she was simply hungry at the time, blaming her mood on being "hangry."
Diggs also declined to weigh in on reports that Offset is seeking a paternity test, repeatedly saying that he is not online very often and spends most of his time training.
On the football front, the free agent said he is staying ready while considering his options for next season.
“I don’t know, man. I'm open to everything,” he said.
What happened between Cardi B and Stefon Diggs?
Rumors that Cardi and Diggs were dating began circulating in October 2024. They spent Valentine’s Day together in 2025 and became Instagram official that June.
They welcomed a son in November 2025, whom they refer to as “Baby Brim” or “Baby Touchdown.”
A source told Entertainment Tonight in early February that Cardi and Diggs ended their relationship. However, they also mentioned that not all hope for a reconciliation was lost.
Speculation that they were back together emerged in April after Diggs was spotted in attendance at Cardi's Little Miss Drama Tour stop at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. At that performance, Cardi jokingly told the crowd, “I might get put on my back tonight.”
Diggs later appeared at the concert’s afterparty before the two reportedly left together.
Their supposed dispute outside of the Maryland coffee shop came just days after the two appeared affectionate together at Diggs' Diggs Deep Foundation Mother's Day event.
People reported last month that Cardi and Diggs had recently worked through relationship woes.
Cardi also shares three children with ex Offset, though it remains unclear if their divorce has been finalized.
