Latto didn’t forget about Cardi B on her new album, Big Mama.
On the song “Gimme Dat,” Latto raps, “Bitch said what? Let’s clock it / Really got a Hermes store in my closet / Talkin’ ‘bout buyin’ big mama a bag like my n***a ain’t already bought it.”
She appears to be responding to alleged audio from a call between Cardi and Ice Spice’s manager, which leaked last fall, where Cardi called the rapper, “pussy ass Latto.”
“I’mma show y’all, I’m not Latto,” the voice thought to be Bardi’s said in the clip. “I’mma beat her the fuck up. I’mma knock her the fuck out. All y’all. I’mma beat her ass. I’mma get Riot beat up by my n***as. Y’all gonna see what the fuck is up. Y’all think I’m fucking pussy ass Latto?”
Spice and Latto notably beefed from 2023 to 2025.
After the audio surfaced, Cardi apologized on social media.
“I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY!!” Cardi wrote on X. “I respect everything about her including her team thats so sweet.. AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her a bag.”
Later on “Gimme Dat,” Latto adds, “Wish a bitch would get in that booth/ I’m callin’ up PlaqueBoyMax.” According to TMZ, Cardi and PBM are linked, with the Bronx hitmaker giving him a shout during this year's Super Bowl LX flag football game.
It’s also important to note the former “Put It On Da Floor Again” collaborators joined again for Cardi’s “Errtime” remix in September 2025, less than a week before the call leaked.
While it’s unclear exactly when the purported audio between Cardi and Spice’s manager was recorded, some speculated that it dates to July 2024, given a reference to an Empire State Building event Spice attended that month. If that’s the case, then Spice and Latto were beefing at the time, which they later squashed with the release of the track “Gyatt.”
