While we wait to see whether Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat will agree to a contract, or if the all-time great two-guard will retire, here's some hilarious, unrelated D-Wade news—because during the basketball-barren summer months, hoops junkies enjoy every bit of news we can get our hands on.

Thursday, Wade's wife, actress Gabrielle Union-Wade, posted a sensual photo on the Gram.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jimmy Butler seemed to enjoy the photo. He commented, "WELL DAMN!!"

D-Wade responded quickly. Friday, Butler posted an IG video.

Wade commented on Butler's video, "Put well damn in caps on my wife photo again and you're gonna see what the good, the bad and the ugly is like."

Butler responded to Wade's comment, "well that escalated quickly. Point noted.. I'm still coming to the bbq tho" with three cry-laughing emojis.

Wade and Butler played together with the Chicago Bulls in 2016-17. That team had some awkward locker-room dynamics, as Wade, Butler, and Rajon Rondo formed "The Three Alphas" and criticized their young teammates' passion. None of the players returned the following season. Chicago reached a buyout with Wade, who signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers and was later traded back to the Miami Heat.

Now, Wade, 36, is deliberating his next move, as he's an unrestricted free agent. He's made it clear he only wants to play for the Heat.
