A year has passed since Nike announced its Cryoshot line, and with the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup quickly approaching the first wave of Cryoshot releases has been announced.
Nike has tapped seven collaborators and federations across the globe to create their own Cryoshot lifestyle cleats. This includes Nocta for Canada, Palace for England, Jacquemus for France, Patta for the Netherlands, Slawn for Nigeria, Peaceminusone for Korea, and Virgil Abloh Archives (V.A.A.) for the US.
Each collaborator has reworked a different classic Nike soccer cleat for this X2 range to represent their respective countries and federations. Each pair features a translucent shell surrounding the tooling, which allows for the cleats to be worn outside of the pitch.
The Nike Cyroshot X2 collection will release starting on June 11 through the collaborator and federation retail, then on June 13 through Dover Street Market, and on June 16 via SNKRS and at select Nike retailers.
V.A.A. x USA x Nike Cryoshot Zoom M9
V.A.A. pays homage to Mia Hamm’s legendary World Cup performances with an updated version of her Zoom M9 cleat. This updated version of the cleat has Virgil Abloh’s signature design elements, specifically the “AIR” branding on the sides.
Peaceminusone x South Korea x Nike Cryoshot CTR 360
South Korea’s Peaceminusone label gives the CTR 360 a vintage design with a sail-colored makeup offset by a red Swoosh on the sides, and special Peaceminusone branding on the heel.
Slawn x Nigeria x Nike Cryoshot Striker 1976
Slawn takes one of Nike’s earliest soccer cleats and covers it with his signature designs throughout the canvas upper.
Patta x Netherlands x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial Vapor R9
Patta covers its Mercurial Vapor R9 with the colors of the Netherlands national team throughout the upper, while retaining the signature fold-over tongue.
Jacquemus x France x Nike Cryoshot Tiempo R10
Although Jacquemus’ Nike Tiempo R10 dons a clean color scheme on the surface, hits of red and blue on the soles serve as a nod to France’s flag.
Palace x England x Nike Cryoshot Air Speed M
Palace and England’s Nike Air Speed M sneaker keeps its signature soccer cleat design but has updated Palace branding throughout, including the fold-over tongue on the upper.
Nocta x Canada x Nike Cryoshot Tiempo ‘94
Nocta and Canada’s Tiempo ‘94 gets a bold yellow color scheme, complete with a black Swoosh on the sides and Nocta branding wrapped around the heel.
