Theo Von had to deal with a disrespectful woman at a recent show — one whose behavior eventually got her kicked out of the venue.
Von had a show on Saturday (August 16) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. A woman in the audience was reportedly heckling him throughout the night. In footage of her being kicked out, she can be seen being led away by security as Von says, “Don’t sue me. I’m in a fucking wheelchair.”
TMZ reports that eyewitnesses believed the woman to be intoxicated, and that she was repeatedly approached by security who wanted her to get off her phone.
Instead of complying, the woman was reportedly argumentative with security and yelled at them while they were trying to be respectful and discreet. During his set, Theo apparently stopped performing twice to see what was going on.
At one point, Von politely requested that the woman leave the show and even allegedly offered to have his assistant give her a refund if she just decided to leave the venue.
When the woman didn’t comply with Von’s ask, security had to lead her out — which somehow allegedly resulted in her punching another member of the audience.
While Von was in good spirits during this recent occasion of disrespect, his hands sang a different tune back in May when footage surfaced of him seemingly grabbing a man by the throat after being antagonized.
In a video shared by TMZ, Von appeared to be standing in the Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville when a man, holding balloons, approached the podcaster. A tense exchange followed that led to the comedian placing his hands around the man’s neck to push him away.
Per TMZ’s report, sources were cited as alleging the man in the video had been harassing Von in the minutes leading up to the confrontation.
