IShowSpeed has been sued for damaging Rizzbot during a September livestream.

The streamer, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., was sued along with Mixed Management and Ames ward by the developer of Rizzbot, Social Robotics, LLC., for $1 million in monetary relief. The company alleges that Speed got “intentionally physical with Rizzbot.”

The lawsuit, filed on Dec. 8, alleges that the incident took place on Sept. 16 when Speed met the Rizzbot in Austin. According to the complaint, the streamer became “angry and agitated” after encountering the robot and “intentionally assaulted” it until it broke.

In the situation that the lawsuit references, Speed is seen putting the robot in a chokehold as it makes funny noises. He yells at it to “Stop fucking talking shit” before telling it that it’s going to die. After Rizzbot tells Speed that he’s his father (a nod to Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back), the streamer punches it in its face twice.

The lawsuit alleges that Speed’s actions caused irreparable damage to Rizzbot, resulting in a total loss — which led to cancellations for future gigs that included a co-hosting opportunity with MrBeast and an appearance on The NFL Today Show on CBS.

“This is no doubt a monumental setback for the RizzBot in terms of viral momentum and financial gain from the exposure. Being in a MrBeast production is akin to being in a Super Bowl commercial,” the lawsuit reads.

IShowSpeed’s lawsuit comes days before he’s set to premiere a new short film about mastering the ancient art of kung-fu. Directed by Daniel Wolf, the film is a partnership with Beats.
