Exclusive: IShowSpeed Shares Trailer for New Short Film in Partnership With Beats

The film premieres later this month.

IShowSpeed is set to premiere a new short film made in partnership with Beats during a special stream later this month.

On Friday, Dec. 12, the Twitch star will go live on YouTube to both premiere the short and discuss the creative process behind it. The Daniel Wolfe-directed film finds Speed mastering the ancient art of kung-fu while using the Powerbeats Pro 2, complete with some training expertise bestowed upon him by Paco Yick, a name that should be familiar to Jackie Chan fans.

During the Dec. 12 livestream premiere, fans can also expect Speed to give away five Master of Speed & Stability kits, which include a custom pair of Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds and a movie poster.

Speed is coming off one hell of a year, with recent highlights including a post-burger backflip and an appearance from Kevin Durant on an episode of Speed Goes Pro.

"Speed is just an athlete, man," the Houston Rockets player said of Speed’s own abilities on the court. "He can do it all."

The apparently abrupt ending to Speed and KD's pickup game spurred a response from Drake, who likened it to an experience of his own.

“KD walked off on me just like this at UCLA and asked me to never invite him to a run again after he hit 4 threes in a row to end the game in another NBA player's face,” the Iceman artist, who was commenting on a video of KD and Speed’s game, wrote.
