Kevin Durant had nothing but praise for IShowSpeed while reflecting on his appearance on the latest episode of Speed Goes Pro.
Following the Houston Rockets' 135-112 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, Durant was asked by a reporter if he would consider Speed to be "a hooper."
"Speed is just an athlete, man," Durant responded at the 6:06 mark when asked about their 3-point competition. "He can do it all."
KD said he and Speed have built a strong relationship over the years through working together on a DICK'S commercial and appearing on the Impaulsive podcast. The 15-time NBA All-Star also took a moment to shout out the streamers and content creators who, in his opinion, have a "tough, tough job."
"Streamers and guys creating content everyday, man, that's a tough, tough job to do," Durant said. "I really got respect for what Speed brings to the culture, and that was fun."
When asked if Speed gave him a battle in their three-point competition, Durant quickly answered, "Of course not. Of course not."
"But Speed is fast, though," he continued. "He's more of a football player to me, I think. But he's an athlete."
