D.L. Hughley has some thoughts about President Donald Trump’s recent actions against illegal immigrants.
Speaking to TMZ on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Hughley outlined his belief that illegal immigrants need support.
“There are more illegal immigrants, if that is your case, in Texas, in Florida, in Georgia, even in California,” said Hughley. “He is punishing those people because, one, the governor ran against him, and, two, he just wants to be evil. This is a campaign against blue states and blue cities.”
Hughley’s comments come days after President Trump said that criminal illegal immigrants make the Hells Angels biker gang “look like the sweetest people on Earth” during a White House briefing.
Elsewhere in his conversation with TMZ, Hughley reiterated a comment he made about Nicki Minaj needing to be worried about Chris Hansen due to her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, being a registered sex offender after being convicted of first-degree rape in 1995 , instead of California governor Gavin Newsom who supports trans kids.
“Damn Don Lemon, Nicki Minaj needs to be worried about Chris Hansen,” said Hughley.
In December, Hughley posted on Threads, “Nicki Minaj shouldn’t post anything about kids cuz her husband can’t be within 1000 ft of one! It ain’t Gavin (Newsom) it’s Chris (Hansen) she should be worried about.”
In another video, Hughley doubled down on his comments, saying, “She supports a dude that is on the Epstein list 1,000 times,” in reference to President Trump.
