Oscars Nominees 2026: 'Sinners,' 'Marty Supreme,' 'One Battle After Another,' and More

With 16 total nominations, Ryan Coogler's 'Sinners' makes Oscars history.

The year of dreaming big continues with the unveiling of the 2026 class of Oscars nominees.

Thursday’s announcement comes after Marty Supreme star Timothée Chalamet and One Battle After Another’s Teyana Taylor both scored key wins at the 2026 Golden Globes ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser. For Chalamet, the win, plus previous Marty Supreme victories at the Critics’ Choice Awards and elsewhere, is fueling higher-than-ever hype in anticipation of a potential Oscars win at this year’s ceremony. The category—currently, at least—feels like a lock for Chalamet.

Taylor, too, entered Thursday as a surefire nominee and strong contender thanks to her latest acclaimed turn as part of Paul Thomas Anderson’s star-stacked OBAO cast.

Ryan Coogler’s vampire epic Sinners, boasting dual performances from Michael B. Jordan, should also fare extremely well when winners are announced in March. Thursday, it set a new Oscars record by racking up 16 total nominations, including Best Picture.

Both Sinners and OBAO are set to return to theaters this week, giving those who missed their chance, or simply want to relive the experience, another opportunity to take in these endlessly rewarding stories as Coogler and Anderson intended.

Below, see the full list of this year’s Oscar nominees. New this year is the Achievement in Casting category, which, it’s not hard to argue, has been a long time coming.

For a look back at last year’s winners, including Anora and The Substance, see here. Winners for 2026 will be announced on March 15 with returning host Conan O’Brien.
