Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another is eyeing a potential sweep at next month’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
Monday (Dec. 8), nominations were announced for the 83rd edition of the annual celebration of the best in film and TV, with PTA’s latest—featuring widely acclaimed performances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, and Teyana Taylor—netting nine total nods.
That’s more than any other film this year, including fellow 2025 standouts like Marty Supreme (three total nominations) and Sinners (seven total nominations). Joachim Trier’s The Worst Person in the World follow-up, Sentimental Value, came close to tying OBAA with eight total nods, including for Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language.
As we dig deeper into awards season in the coming weeks, now’s the time to get caught up on any nominated films you may have missed over the past year. Some, like Marty Supreme, haven’t yet received a wide release as of this writing, while others, including Sinners, are now available to stream.
Below, we break down where to watch key titles from the 2026 Golden Globes nominees class, with a focus on these categories: Best Motion Picture – Drama; Best Motion Picture – Musical Or Comedy; Best Motion Picture – Animated; Cinematic and Box Office Achievement; and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language.
