Logan Paul doesn’t “know shit” about One Piece, at least according to IShowSpeed.
In an X post shared Tuesday (April 21), Paul, recently seen being put through a table by Speed in a breakout WrestleMania 42 moment, declared himself the “proud owner of the greatest Mangas in the world.” Included in the post was a photo of the WWE signee posing with sealed copies of key One Piece and Dragon Ball titles.
“The Manga journey has begun,” Paul added, quickly earning a response from Speed, who questioned the genuineness of his stated One Piece fandom.
“You don’t even know shit about One Piece,” Speed replied.
Paul did not immediately respond to Speed’s remark.
As for that through-the-table WrestleMania highlight, Paul recently gave his side of the story in an episode of his Impaulsive podcast.
As Paul saw it, though he ultimately shifted to saying he was “in the wrong” and would “take accountability,” Speed cost the team the match.
“You joined the WWE, on my team, so pull your fucking weight,” he said. “You have one job, and that is be an asset to the team, not a liability. … He hurt us.”
Among the projects next on Speed’s slate include another tour, this time focusing on the Caribbean, plus a Harmony Korine-produced anime series. The latter, notably, is written by Matt Owens, who previously served as a showrunner on Netflix’s One Piece adaptation. As of this writing, an official release date for the project has not been publicly announced.
