IShowSpeed’s Journey to WWE WrestleMania 42: A Timeline

IShowSpeed’s friendship with Logan Paul has turned into Speed getting his first match at WWE WrestleMania 42. This is how we got here.

When IShowSpeed isn’t taking the world by storm, one stream at a time, he’s been spending time over the last few years getting acclimated within the WWE Universe. It shouldn’t be a surprise; Speed moves like a superior athlete, like there isn’t much on this Earth that he can’t do. How hard can it be to step into the squared circle? Judging off his episode of Speed Goes Pro, it isn’t that tough when you’re Speed.

That said, his journey into WWE has moved at a slower pace. Speed’s gone from a surprise guest during WrestleMania to getting cursed by one of WWE’s premiere stars to now becoming a part of WrestleMania history. That’s right, Speed will be part of a six-man tag match at WrestleMania 42 alongside Logan Paul and Austin Theory against LA Knight (yes, the same guy who threw Speed into his setup) and the Usos, which was made official this week on Raw. This week also saw the release of Speed’s WrestleMania t-shirt, which is exclusive to Complex Shop.

With Speed taking his talents to WWE’s main roster, let’s take a look at IShowSpeed’s journey to WWE WrestleMania 42.

IShowSpeed gets RKO'd at WrestleMania XL

When: April 7, 2024

Speed’s entry into WWE was through his fellow content creator, Logan Paul. Back at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, Speed was dressed as a bottle of PRIME (the company Paul co-owns) to help out Paul in his United States Championship match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. For his efforts, Speed ate an RKO on the commentary table.

For his second appearance, Speed joined U.S. Champion Logan Paul to announce more WWE Draft picks on an episode of Raw.

IShowSpeed enters the Royal Rumble

When: February 1, 2025

Speed got the chance to livestream the Royal Rumble, meeting a number of WWE Superstars and giving his viewers never-before-seen access to a WWE PLE that’s in production. He also worked the Men’s Rumble, replacing Akira Tozawa after he was attacked by Carmelo Hayes, only to eat a vicious Spear from Bron Breakker.

IShowSpeed Goes Pro

When: November 26, 2025

For the fifth episode of Speed Goes Pro, Speed traveled to the WWE Performance Center to learn the tricks of the trade from the Legend Killer Randy Orton while rocking a BAPE x WWE tee, eventually putting on an impressive match against Kam Hendrix (fka Anthony Luke).

Danhausen curses IShowSpeed

When: March 23, 2026

Danhausen is the tooth-carrying phenom terrorizing the WWE Universe with his long-storied curses. Since joining WWE at Elimination Chamber, Danhausen has cursed numerous WWE Superstars, causing Dominik Mysterio to lose the Intercontinental Championship, The Miz to get clocked by Jelly Roll, and rendering a referee physically unable to count a pinfall. Speed, during a visit to Raw, ran into Danhausen, which has become Speed’s most fateful link up thus far.

To be fair, it really isn’t Speed’s fault; Danhausen wanted Speed’s password to turn his stream into “IShowSpeedhausen,” and when Speed said no, Danhausen straight up cursed him, starting a new chapter in Speed’s WWE journey.

IShowSpeed hits LA Knight with brass knuckles

When: March 30, 2026

This is when the curse comes to fruition: a week later, on Raw, The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) took on the WWE World Tag Team Champions, the Usos, in Madison Square Garden in a title match. Paul’s mother was in attendance, with Speed sitting next to her. At one point, Paul went to his mother to retrieve a set of brass knuckles for the match, which led to Speed being dragged over the guardrail next to the knuckles during an altercation between Paul and LA Knight, who was at ringside. Suddenly, Speed was putting on the brass knuckles and in one swift motion, swung around and socked LA Knight upside the head with the knuckles. Now, the way it looked, Speed’s right hand may still be cursed; he didn’t look like he wanted to hit LA Knight, and immediately removed the brass knuckles and walked from the ringside area.

The damage was already done, though.

LA Knight attacks IShowSpeed on stream

When: April 2, 2026

Days later, LA Knight showed up at Speed’s house during a livestream, giving Speed a receipt for showing up on Raw. Speed ended up getting thrown face-first into his streaming setup, which isn’t new to the influencer, but he also wasn’t being chucked by a grown-ass WWE Superstar.

IShowSpeed is going to WrestleMania

When: April 6, 2026

After an unsuccessful attempt at getting the curse removed from Danhausen, Speed ended up being roped into accompanying The Vision to the ring once again. During Theory’s match with LA Knight, Speed got thrown into Knight. The match ended up being stolen by Theory, thanks in no part to Speed and Logan Paul confusing things. After the Usos hit the ring to even the numbers, LA Knight asked for a match with the Usos against The Vision and IShowSpeed…at WrestleMania 42 in Vegas, which Adam Pearce granted!

Guess we will be seeing more of Speed in WWE in the near future!

IShowSpeed makes his WrestleMania debut

When: April 18, 2026

Weeks later, Speed was alongiside Paul and Theory in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42, airing live on ESPN 2 for the world to see. During the match (which saw Speed hitting flips and lowkey holding his own against legit WWE Superstars), Paul betrayed Speed, throwing him out of the ring.

Speed got his revenge, though, putting Logan Paul through a table in a spot that immediately went viral.
