The March 2026 VR Games Showcase has officially wrapped, bringing a packed slate of trailers, release dates, and a few “what the actual heck” moments along the way.

With major titles like Payday alongside more unconventional card-battlers, 2026 is already shaping up to be a busy year for the VR community.

Payday and The Boys Bring Heists and Fear to The Forefront

One of the largest standouts during the showcase was, of course, Payday: Aces High, developed by Fast Travel Games. This dedicated 4-player co-op heist-filled title was specifically built for both Quest and PC VR. While the release date is not yet in sight, it has been confirmed that it will be coming to the masses later this year.

For players looking for a high-stakes heist experience in VR, this is a title to keep on your radar.

Speaking of terrifying, fans also got a look at The Boys: Trigger Warning, where Homelander appears as a life-sized threat in VR. The game leans into the show’s signature grit and intense violence, making it a standout for fans of The Boys and VR players alike.

Tactical Shooters and Dungeon Crawling

Now, for fans who have a never-ending competitive itch to scratch, Forefront, a 32-player Battlefield-style shooter, was finally locked in for a 1.0 release on April 23, 2026. The title will also be getting visual enhancements for PC VR users, including real-time lighting.

If you are more of a co-op connoisseur, Exoshock has just come out with its Founders Edition for just $12.99, giving fans instant access to the dev build and a bold sci-fi-inspired world to explore with your friends.

More so, One More Delve has finally received a concrete release date, slated to hit Steam and Quest on April 27, 2026. This neon-soaked fever dream is one for the books, and fans of the upcoming title are chomping at the bit to see all that the intense cel-shaded dungeon crawler has to offer.

The Weird and the Wonderful

The showcase wasn’t all shooters, looters, and crawlers, though, as fans also got a taste of Primal Rumble, which appears to be a very interesting mixed reality card-battler. Players will go on to collect creatures and fight them in their literal living room, so what more could you ask for here? Primal Rumble will be free to play and crash land into your home in Spring 2026.

Finally, if you love the heart-pumping, jump-scaring style of games, Confined: Leaving OKB-134 might just be your next new favorite VR horror game. The game gives an extreme sense of pure claustrophobia, locking you in a bunker by your alleged “friend,” all while being hunted down like a wild dog by a shrieking creature. The demo is currently available on Steam if you feel so inclined to have a small heart attack by late this evening.
