IShowSpeed has been one of the most emotional spectators at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and Tuesday's Portugal match gave him everything he had been waiting for.

The popular streamer broke down crying on his livestream as Cristiano Ronaldo put the ball in the net against Uzbekistan in Portugal's Group K contest on June 23. In the clip first shared by Fox Sports, Speed gave a tearful reaction to the goal that was Ronaldo's first of the tournament. Shortly after, Ronaldo scored again and Speed let out another tearful reaction.

Coming into the match, the 41-year-old had six career World Cup goals two shy of Portuguese legend Eusebio's all-time record of nine. After going scoreless in Portugal's Group K opener against DR Congo — a 1-1 draw on June 17 in which several outlets rated him the side's worst starter — the finish against Uzbekistan hit harder for fans who had been waiting.

Ronaldo followed the first goal with his signature "Siuuu" celebration, his first of the 2026 tournament. Nuno Mendes added a free-kick strike to push Portugal's lead to 2-0, with coach Roberto Martínez visibly celebrating on the touchline.

Speed's reaction to the DR Congo draw six days earlier had already gone viral. He leapt from his seat and screamed when Joao Neves opened the scoring for Portugal, then watched in what Fox Sports described as "utter disbelief" when Yoane Wissa headed in a stoppage-time equalizer for DR Congo's first-ever World Cup goal.

The streamer has been attending matches throughout the United States since the tournament kicked off. He was at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 13 for the USA vs. Paraguay opener, where he hit 55 million YouTube subscribers mid-match and celebrated with a backflip, declaring, "55 million, at the World Cup opening. Let's go."

The trip to Dallas on June 22 was rougher. Speed was in the stands wearing an Austria jersey for Argentina's Group J match and reportedly froze for nearly a full minute after Lionel Messi scored his record-breaking 17th World Cup goal. He eventually walked out of the stadium and headed to a nearby Walmart to decompress, only to find Messi jerseys on the shelves.

Speed's World Cup ties run deeper than fandom. His 2022 single “World Cup" earned Gold RIAA certification on June 6, and Warner Records released a follow-up track, "World Cup (Champions)," on June 1that was added to the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. He revealed the news on a livestream after receiving a DM from the official FIFA World Cup account, performing Ronaldo's "Siuuu" and announcing, "It's on the World Cup album. It's official. Let's go."
