Camilla Araujo says her younger self would be proud of the life she’s built, calling her present-day reality "so surreal" and telling fans, "I wasn’t born with some superpower. You can do this, too."
The viral influencer, 23, shared a new video on Instagram promoting her self-produced documentary Becoming Her, which recounts her journey from immigrant daughter to multimillion-dollar content creator.
"I think about [that girl] all the time and how proud I am of her," Araujo said. "If she could see everything I’ve accomplished today… she would be so proud."
The video's caption read, "Camilla Araujo is going to be the next Kim Kardashian."
The YouTube film, which debuted on New Year’s Day and quickly passed 600,000 views, walks viewers through Araujo’s past, including her parents’ struggles as Brazilian immigrants and her decision to retire them.
"Thank you, Mom and Dad," she said in the clip. "They came to seek a better life for their children, and they struggled so much."
Araujo explained she’s spent the past two years alone, teaching herself how to translate views into income.
"Views equal money," she said. "I had to teach myself the mindset to get the views, then I had to perfect the strategies, and then I had to learn how to get those views to turn into money."
The film also promotes a new program tied to Becoming Her, targeted at women trying to grow content-based businesses.
"This is perfect for the girls that want to be content creators, or girls that have an existing business but want to level it up," Araujo said. "Or even people who want to be behind the scenes and still make money."
Araujo previously went viral after saying she earned over $20 million on OnlyFans before stepping away from the platform.
