Camilla Araujo has reignited one of the internet’s most infamous images by recreating Kim Kardashian’s 2014 Paper magazine cover.

The look is nearly identical. Champagne bottle in hand. A flute balanced on her backside. Same black gown. Same glossy pose. But the name on the mock cover reads "Camilla Araujo," and the year is 2025.

Araujo posted the image to Instagram with a straight-to-the-point caption: "Camilla Araujo for Paper Mag 2025."

The response was instant.

"Ate!" wrote one user.

"We all can agree Camilla did it best," said another.

"Dare I say you did it better," wrote one follower.

Not everyone was on board. One comment read, "Forced!!! She a bird…," while another asked, "How many takes?"

The side-by-side nature of the post left no doubt this was a deliberate echo.

Kardashian’s original cover, shot by Jean-Paul Goude for Paper magazine’s Winter 2014 issue, wasn’t just a photoshoot.

At the time, Kardashian’s image sparked debate about fame, body image and influence. She was already dominating social media with millions of followers across Instagram and Twitter. That cover further cemented her presence in both pop culture and fashion, landing her in both tabloids and high-fashion glossies.

While Kardashian’s original shoot came in the middle of a media whirlwind surrounding her family, marriage, and reality TV empire, Araujo arrives in a different cultural moment — one where social media stars hold the same level of visibility once reserved for reality icons.

And her audience was quick to weigh in.

"Camilla runs the internet at this point," said one user. The numbers suggest they’re not wrong. Araujo’s post hit over 40,000 likes in under 48 hours.

Recently, Araujo shot a commercial that mimicked a Marilyn Monroe scene.

"You guys know I'm not really brand friendly, but I've always wanted to shoot a commercial," Araujo says at the start of the video.

"So today I decided, well, I'm just gonna shoot my own commercial, pay for it myself, and promote me on you know where I'm promoting it."
