Engaged celebs Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift apparently haven’t argued in their nearly three years together.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who became engaged to The Life of a Showgirl vocalist in August, briefly spoke on their relationship while George Clooney was a guest on the Wednesday (Dec. 3) episode of podcast New Heights.
Around the 1:23:00 mark of the episode below, Kelce asked whether it was a lie that Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, haven’t fought in 10 years.
"No, I'm not lying," Clooney replied. "Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?"
"Well, it's only been two and a half years, and you're right. I haven't gotten into an argument. Never once," Kelce told the actor.
Clooney shared why he and his wife stray from explosive disagreements, saying, “Honestly, neither of us are going to win the argument, so why get in it?”
"Dude, I'm 64 years old. And what am I gonna argue about at this point? You know?" Clooney continued. "I've met this incredible woman that is, she's beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world. And I can't believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?"
Kelce often gushes about his relationship with Swift, who joined the show for the first time in August to announce Showgirl and reflect on her fiancé joining her for select dates of The Eras Tour.
If the couple doesn't argue well into their marriage, they'll be joining other celebrity couples like Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, who have also sworn off getting into nasty disagreements.
"The communication is there. We’ve never had an argument," Swizz told Us Weekly in May. "Since we’ve been together, our kids [have] never seen it; never seen us raise our voice [or] never seen us yell. Never seen us curse at each other. Why? Because of communication."
