Terry Crews revisited his iconic White Chicks scene while hyping up the crowd during Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining set at Coachella this weekend.
On Friday (April 17), during the "Espresso" hitmaker's second set at the California festival, Crews flexed his shirtless pectoral muscles onstage to 2002 Vanessa Carlton classic "A Thousand Miles" — the same song his White Chicks character Latrell Spencer used to serenade Tiffany Wilson (Marlon Wayans) in the 2004 buddy comedy.
During Coachella, Crews took off his denim coveralls while wearing a headset. "Let me flex the way I need to flex," he told the audience while hilariously pumping his chest. "I wish Sabrina would bring somebody else to turn these lights on, that’s what I said!"
"And then you know what else? I said Sabrina Carpenter? … Oh, the white chick. Reminds me of my favorite song," he continued before singing "A Thousand Miles."
After Crews' rendition of the early-2000s hit, he "fused" the lights for Carpenter to hit the stage, where she was also joined by pop legend Madonna. The two artists performed several Madonna hits, including "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer" ahead of the July release of her 15th studio album, Confessions II. The album serves as a sequel to Madonna’s 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Another potential sequel is White Chicks 2, which brother-comedy duo Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans recently teased. Talking to Entertainment Tonight, they pair explained that the film "can happen," but that it depends on the success of their upcoming parody flick, Scary Movie 6.
Speaking to The Breakfast Club, Marlon said that he would want to utilize artificial intelligence for the potential movie.
"I'm waiting for technology. I'm waiting for AI. I don't want to sit in makeup seven hours again for 60 days, sitting in seven hours of makeup and then working 14 hours after that, which means I'm sleeping two hours every day to do this movie," he said last year.
