DDG believes that he and fellow streamer Kai Cenat can pull bigger meet-and-greet crowds than movie stars.

In 2026, streamers are the new faces of entertainment, with internet personalities like DDG, Kai, N3on and Zoe Spencer taking the helm. Recently, DDG compared the successes of himself and Kai to actors Vin Diesel and Chris Hemsworth. On Tuesday (February 2), DDG kicked it off by posting on X, “Streamers are richer & more influential than your traditional ‘celebrity.’”

He didn’t back down from the implications of that statement, following up on a stream by saying that he could pull a bigger crowd than Mr. Fast and Furious himself.

"If Vin Diesel tweets an address and I tweet an address, whose shit mo' lit, bruh? Keep it a buck…. Me or Vin Diesel?" DDG asked. Then he name-dropped the Marvel Cinematic Universe actor.

"If Chris Hemsworth tweets an address and says, meet me in the middle of New York; and Kai tweet at the same time and they’re in two different parts of New York, who's pulling up to what?” he continued. “Chris Hemsworth's a real celebrity. Traditional celebrity. A-list…actor. Who's pulling up, bro?"

“I hope these n****s see these clips and they do a fucking meet and greet so y'all can see the difference, bro. I said what I said, man,” DDG concluded. “Y'all can quit downplaying content creators and streamers and all these other shit like n****s is lame and they ain't shit. Boy, we playing with M's."

In 2023, Kai Cenat tried to host a meet and greet in New York. He was swarmed by thousands of unruly fans, some of whom destroyed nearby cars to participate in the streamer’s PlayStation giveaway.

While DDG didn’t go into detail about how streamers are changing the face of entertainment, the proof is evident, with Kai and PlaqueBoyMax having been guests at the Grammys, and publications like TIME recognizing the power of online creators.
