Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest David and Victoria Beckham, has finally spoken out amid speculation of major family turmoil. In a series of scathing Instagram posts, the young Beckham accused his parents of attempting to "ruin" his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

In the years since the 26-year-old married the actress, 31, Beckham's relationship with his parents has publicly floundered. Seemingly confirming that the Beckhams were at odds with their eldest child, in a New Year's Eve post, David Beckham acknowledged his other three children, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, while a mention or picture of Brooklyn was absent.

In the posts, Brooklyn wrote that he does not want to "reconcile" with his parents.. "I'm not being controlled. I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," he explained.

"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into," Brooklyn continued.

Elsewhere, Brooklyn claimed that David and Victoria Beckham have "endlessly tried to ruin my relationship" well before he and Peltz tied the knot. Among other accusations was Victoria halting her planned design of her daughter-in-law's wedding dress at the last minute, along with alleged attempts of pressuring Brooklyn to sign away the rights to his name.

"They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated," Brooklyn claimed. "My holdout affected the payday and they have never treated me the same since."

Brooklyn also alleged that his relationship with his parents further strained in the years since he and Peltz married, adding that that he's received "relentless attacks" both personally and in the press.

"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," Brooklyn wrote. He also recalled that Latin vocalist Marc Anthony called him and Peltz to the stage for their first dance and claimed that his mother danced "very inappropriately" with him. "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life," he continued.

After claiming that Peltz has been "constantly disrespected" by his parents, Brooklyn ended by writing that the "narrative" that his wife "controls" him is "completely backwards."

"I grew up with overwhelming anxiety," Brooklyn wrote. "For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared."

Earlier this month, Page Six reported that Victoria Beckham attempted to extend an olive branch to Brooklyn by reposting a childhood photo of her son and his father to Instagram Stories.

"I love you all so much 🤍" David Beckham's post read.
