Victoria Beckham and her husband, David Beckham, were inseparable to the point of having to sneak in hotel meetups while dating.

The fashion designer and pop vocalist, who's the star of new Netflix documentary Victoria Beckham, discussed her early relationship with the former soccer player on the Wednesday (Oct. 22) episode of Call Her Daddy.

Around the 33-minute mark of the video below, host Alex Cooper asked Beckham about how being a Spice Girl impacted her relationship with David, as he was still a rising athlete.

"He fitted in so seamlessly, you know, with the other girls," Beckham said. "I mean, I remember being on tour, doing a show in Manchester, sneaking him into my room, and literally the following morning, David having to jump out the window and do the walk of shame."

Beckham added that her then-boyfriend had to "skip training" after developing "blisters on his feet" and doing the "walk of shame in his clothes from the night before."

"But he fitted in with the other girls, and they loved him right away and he's so comfortable in his own skin," she continued.

Elsewhere, Beckham called David "supportive" of her career as a pop star and said he was "never insecure" about her success. The couple married in 1999 and share four children: Brooklyn, 26; Romeo, 23; Cruz, 20; and Harper, 14.

The Spice Girls broke up one year after the Beckhams married but have reunited several times over the last 15 years. They group has released three studio albums overall, while Beckham's only solo project was her eponymous 2001 LP.

The Beckhams were named one of Complex's most stylish celebrity couples, which you can read about here.
