On Wednesday, December 31, legendary retired soccer player David Beckham turned to Instagram to share a carousel of photos while reflecting back on the past year. David is the father of four children with his wife Victoria Beckham, including 26-year-old Brooklyn, 23-year-old Romeo, 20-year-old Cruz, and 14-year-old Harper.
However, when posting a total of 20 family photos taken over the past year, David notably did not include any pictures featuring his eldest son, Brooklyn, despite including photos of all of his other children.
The snub comes as a feud within the family reportedly continues to intensify.
“From my 50th to my knighthood ( still pinching myself ) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner, I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends, and team I work with every single day,” David wrote in the caption of the post. “Nothing would have been possible without you all.”
“But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say, ‘ Onto the next,” he continued. “Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids.”
David’s followers were quick to notice that Brooklyn did not appear in any of the photos, with many calling him out for the snub.
“Appreciate I don’t know what’s gone on, but to leave out your son will only further that divide. Be the family bond!” one person wrote.
Brooklyn married his wife, American actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, in 2022. There has been continued drama within the family over the years. This has included drama dating back to the pair’s wedding, in which Victoria reportedly offended Nicola, causing her to run from the room crying.
The drama would later continue when Nicola chose to block both her new mother-in-law and father-in-law on Instagram.
Brooklyn, who remains estranged from the rest of the family, spent the holidays with Nicola’s parents.
