On March 29, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who is known for starring on the Jersey Shore, had the police show up to his property with his ex-girlfriend, Kirsten.
The 34-year-old claimed that she had been in a relationship with him for three years and that they were living as a family unit. However, she was separating from him “due to infidelity issues” and needed help safely retrieving her belongings from the residence.
According to TMZ, “Law enforcement responded to 40-year-old Ronnie's 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 3,773-square-foot home in Miami around 8:30 PM that Sunday.” The outlet also reported that Kirsten was able to enter the $1.2 million mansion without issue and agreed to return on April 1 with a moving truck to retrieve the rest of her items.
A rep for Ortiz-Magro released a statement that said, "He was in the process of separating from his long term girlfriend, and it was at his request for her to call the police to ensure that the separation/moving out was peaceful, and because he's been the recipient of falsehoods in the past, and is in a really good place and didn't want there to be any unnecessary drama."
Ortiz-Magro made his first appearance on MTV’s Jersey Shore in 2009, where he had an on-and-off relationship with Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola that lasted for eight years. The show ended in 2012, but Ortiz-Magro returned to television in 2018 for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. However, he ultimately stepped away in 2021 to focus on his health and sobriety.
The ninth and final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiers on May 7. However, the group hinted that they aren’t done with television yet. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi posted a video to her Instagram that was captioned, “Legends don’t retire — they reroute. The network changed. The legacy didn’t. Jersey Shore is forever. Just wait until you see what’s next.”
