DJ Khaled is an iconic DJ, rapper, and record producer. Recently, while on a yacht heading to a launch party during the F1 Miami Grand Prix, he exclusively spoke with People about his health journey. "Right now they call me ‘Slim Jim,’” he said on April 29. “I can't wait to tell the world how much is coming off of me. I'm sculpting greatness."
He continued, "I've been working out, but at the same time I've been eating better. I've been more focused. And it's really protecting my happiness and the blessings. You can see it. You can see the glow. You can see it in the hairline. You can see it. I live it. I walk it, I talk it. You know what I'm saying? It's life."
Khaled went on to explain the exact steps he’s been taking to stay healthy lately. "What I do is I play 18 holes of golf—with no golf cart though,” he said. “So 18 holes, that's about six to seven miles where I play at. And sometimes I double it up. But I wake up at six, seven in the morning. So by the time I'm done golfing and walking, walking and golfing, everybody's still hugging their pillow, putting slob over it. And it's about 10:30, 11:00 when I get done. I already put in the work. And then I go back and run the empire. You know what I'm saying? We the best."
Khaled also revealed how much he loves the outdoors. "I'm just walking and golfing,” he said. “It gives me time to embrace mother nature. It doesn't feel like I'm working out in a gym and I'm just walking and I got time to think, make the right decisions. And it makes you happy. So after you're done with that vibe, the rest of the day the tone is set. You know what I'm saying? It's set with a good energy. It's important."
