Timothée Chalamet has been sporting his Marty Supreme jacket in various colorways for weeks now.

In a recent interview with BBC News, the actor was asked which famous Brits would be “worthy” of also donning a Marty Supreme jacket.

“What a great question,” Chalamet said before running down his list, naming Lewis Hamilton, David and Victoria Beckham, and rapper Fakemink, before pausing and adding Susan Boyle to the list.

When asked why Boyle, Chalamet said, “She dreamt bigger than all of us.”

Boyle caught wind of Chalamet’s comments and thanked him on Instagram.

“This has been so incredibly touching to read. I’m very flattered, @tchalamet. Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me,” Boyle wrote.

“We all start somewhere, with a dream and a bit of hope, don’t we? We should all dream big! I wish you every success as you continue to dream your own dream. Thank you for your kindness and for remembering that moment so fondly.”

In 2009, Boyle appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, where she performed a rendition of the Les Misérables song “I Dreamed a Dream” in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan, who were shocked.

Boyle ultimately finished as runner-up on the reality show, secured a recording deal, and released two No. 1 albums: 2009’s I Dreamed a Dream and 2010’s The Gift.

In 2022, Boyle suffered a stroke that impacted her ability to sing and speak; however, in May, she shared that she has since returned to the studio.

Chalamet's nod to Fakemink was cheeky, as he's a collaborator on the viral internet song, "LV Sandals," with EsDeeKid and Rico Ace. It's been speculated that Chalamet is actually EsDeeKid—and it's been difficult to confirm whether this is true since the rapper has never been seen without some sort of face covering.

Timmy recently spoke on the conspiracy theory, telling the Heart Breakfast crew, “All will be revealed in due time."
