Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have reportedly called it quits.
However, an insider told People that the pair is "working on things" together. The source continued, “They want one another to succeed and be happy.”
“There have been points where they've split and have gotten back together,” the source added, explaining that it’s unknown if they will reconcile.
The rumored split comes roughly five months after welcoming their first child together, a daughter named Scottie Rose. Sources say tensions in the relationship began building after that. Davidson's demanding work schedule was a point of friction, with an insider saying the distance it created ultimately contributed to the breakup.
"Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born," an insider told The US Sun. "It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money."
For now, Scottie Rose is the priority. "They are just focusing 100% on Scottie," another source told the outlet. "Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority."
Scottie Rose, who was born Dec. 12, 2025, is Davidson’s father’s namesake. Scott Matthew Davidson was a New York City firefighter who died while responding to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
