Pete Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt says she made a bold first-date confession.
While answering a Q&A for Bumble on Tuesday (Nov. 18), the 29-year-old model recalled telling Davidson, 32, that she believes he would become the father of their children.
“When we went on our first date, we went out to dinner for the first time. I was like, ‘OK, don't think that I'm crazy, but I just know you're gonna be the father of my children,”” Hewitt said at the 36-second mark in the video linked above.
The couple, who began dating in March, are now expecting their first child, though Hewitt has described her pregnancy as extremely painful.
According to TMZ, Hewitt said in a since-expired Instagram Story that she had "been in pain since the very beginning and it's just getting worse and worse."
She added, "I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day. I actually really don't know how it could get worse than this."
In July, the couple announced they were expecting through a cheeky Instagram post that read, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
Sources told TMZ their child is due this winter. The outlet also previously reported that the pair moved in together by May.
Following the announcement, Davidson told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he was “so excited” to become a father.
“Anybody who knows me knows it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited," the actor said. "Elsie’s excited. I’m excited to see her be a mom. So, we’re stoked.”
