Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on December 12, 2025.
Hewitt confirmed the news via Instagram on Thursday (December 18), posting a photo of the couple holding their newborn. “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” the 29-year-old model wrote. “My best work yet. I am absolutely overflowing with love, gratitude, and disbelief.” Davidson, 32, added his own message in the comments: “Wu-Tang forever.”
The Instagram announcement included several intimate photos of the new parents with their daughter, whose face was covered with a white heart emoji in each image. The carousel featured hospital shots, cuddling snaps, and a photo of mother and daughter posed against a snowy backdrop.
The baby’s name appears to reference Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died during the September 11, 2001 attacks when Pete was seven years old.
Hewitt first revealed her pregnancy in July via Instagram, posting photos and videos showing her embracing Davidson and holding his hand while viewing a sonogram. “Welp, now everyone knows we had sex,” she joked in the caption.
Shortly after, Davidson addressed the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 22, telling host Jimmy Fallon, “Anybody who knows me knows it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited. Elsie’s excited,” per Today. He added that fatherhood had already shifted his perspective, saying, “Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore.”
A source confirmed to People in March that Davidson and Hewitt were dating after the pair were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida. By May, another source told the outlet the couple had moved in together, splitting time between Davidson’s upstate New York home and a Brooklyn brownstone.
Davidson previously told E! News in July that becoming a father “has been my dream since I was little,” adding, “When you have dreams when you’re little and then you get older, sometimes those feelings change — that didn’t change for me.” He also noted that advice from fellow comedians Adam Sandler and Colin Jost helped prepare him for the role.
