The reported wedding plans for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just became significantly more detailed.
Days after reports surfaced that a permit had been requested for the area surrounding Madison Square Garden over the July 4 holiday weekend, new reporting claims guests have already received electronic invitations—and signed non-disclosure agreements.
According to NBC News New York, a source familiar with the event said roughly 1,100 people are expected to attend the July 3 celebration, with multiple musical performances planned throughout the evening.
If those reports prove accurate, the ceremony would rank among the largest celebrity weddings in recent memory. The same source told NBC News that invitees were required to sign NDAs along with their digital invitations to the event.
The latest report also builds on information that has emerged over the past week regarding preparations around Madison Square Garden. A spokesperson for New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani's office confirmed that an event permit exists for the area surrounding the arena between July 2 and July 4.
According to the spokesperson, the permit includes requests for street closures and a large event tent, and lists an expected crowd of between 500 and 999 people. City officials declined to identify who submitted the application.
Even inside Madison Square Garden, speculation has continued to build. NBC News reported that some arena employees acknowledged they would be working "the event” but declined to provide additional details.
The New York storyline represents a dramatic shift from where the reporting stood only weeks ago. Earlier speculation centered on Rhode Island, with Swift's Westerly estate and the nearby Ocean House repeatedly linked to the ceremony. Those reports eventually lost steam as attention moved toward Manhattan.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed the wedding date or venue.
