The wedding reception of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will reportedly have some country music and rock ‘n’ roll legends on the bill.
According to Page Six, Swift has enlisted two of her formative musical influences, country music icon Tim McGraw and Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, to be performers at the ceremony. Another potential legend that could be a wedding performer is Paul McCartney.
The outlet also pointed out that the 14-time Grammy winner wore a tee reading “Stevie Knicks” during Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Swift and Nicks have had a mutual admiration society since 2010, when they performed together at the Grammys. As for McGraw, Swifties know well that Taylor’s 2006 debut single was named for him.
Swift’s wedding is set to be the biggest event in New York since the Knicks’ ticker-tape parade last week, as Swift and Kelce will reportedly be shutting down streets that surround the event’s presumed venue, Madison Square Garden, from July 2 to July 4. The space is intended to be reserved for tents, canopies, and production trucks for the big day on July 3. The roughly 1,000-guest wedding will be preceded by a rehearsal dinner the night before with a reported 100 people on the guest list.
Those who’ve been invited as guests to the wedding reportedly include pop vocalist Benson Boone and model Karlie Kloss.
“I’ve heard Taylor invited so many people it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala,” a source told Page Six.
The couple got engaged last August, surprising fans with a photoset of them embracing in a garden.
