Star Wars Celebration is officially heading back to Los Angeles in 2027, and Lucasfilm has already begun rolling out the first wave of celebrity guests for the massive fan event. Organizers confirmed this week that actors from across the Skywalker Saga, Disney+ series, and animated projects will appear at the convention, which returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center from April 1-4, 2027.

Among the biggest names announced so far are Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, and Anthony Daniels. Christensen, who first appeared as Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones, has remained a major presence in the franchise through Disney+ projects like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka. McDiarmid, whose portrayal of Emperor Palpatine spans multiple trilogies, is also set to attend alongside Daniels, the longtime actor behind C-3PO.

Daniels’ appearance carries extra significance because the 2027 event coincides with the 50th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope. Over the decades, Daniels has appeared as C-3PO in 10 feature films, as well as in several animated and live-action series connected to the franchise.

Lucasfilm Animation will also have a strong presence at the event. Dee Bradley Baker, known for voicing the clone troopers in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, is confirmed for the convention alongside Michelle Ang, the voice of Omega in The Bad Batch. Their appearance continues Lucasfilm’s push to spotlight the animated side of the franchise, which has become a major part of Disney+’s Star Wars ecosystem.

The timing of the announcement comes as Star Wars continues posting massive streaming numbers. Nielsen recently reported that fans spent more than 33 billion minutes watching Star Wars content across streaming and television in 2025 alone.

Disney+ also previously confirmed that May 4, 2025—better known as Star Wars Day—became the platform’s single biggest streaming day of the year.

Recent data shows that different generations are connecting with different corners of the franchise. Nielsen found that The Mandalorian remains especially popular with Gen Alpha viewers and Baby Boomers, while Andor led among Millennials and Gen X audiences. On May 4, 2025, Andor also ranked as the most-streamed Star Wars title of the day.

Tickets for Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles 2027 are scheduled to go on sale May 6 at 12 p.m. PST, alongside exclusive merchandise tied to the event. Additional guest announcements are expected in the coming months.
