Patrick J. Adams Finally Gets Meghan Markle’s As Ever Jam

A playful podcast jab turned into a royal jam delivery, as the 'Suits' co-stars prove their friendship is still very much intact on and off Instagram.

Meghan Markle jumped into the comments section on Instagram this week after former Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams joked that he never received any of the fruit spreads from her lifestyle company, As ever.

The exchange started after Adams appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with host Amanda Hirsch. During the conversation, Hirsch mentioned that she had previously received one of Markle’s signature jars of jam, complete with a handwritten note. Adams quickly pointed out that he had been left out.

“You got a jam? I didn’t get a jam,” Adams said with a laugh. He then joked that the pair should open Hirsch’s jar to see what all the attention was about.

That comment eventually made its way back to Markle, who responded directly beneath a video clip posted to Instagram. “Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn,” she wrote, also tagging Adams’ wife, Troian Bellisario. Markle followed that up with a message for the family, adding, “Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom ❤️.”

The brief exchange served as another sign that her lifestyle brand continues to grow even after its recent split from Netflix. Last month, the Duchess of Sussex and Netflix confirmed that the streaming company would no longer be directly involved with As ever. The brand, which launched alongside her series With Love, Meghan, is now operating independently.

Jam has become one of the company’s signature items. Markle first began sending jars to friends and public figures in 2024, when the venture was still called American Riviera Orchard. Over time, the product line expanded beyond preserves to include teas, flower sprinkles, candles, wine, and honey.

Adams and Markle have remained friendly since starring together on Suits, where they played Mike Ross and Rachel Zane for seven seasons. The pair reunited several times publicly after the legal drama found a new audience when it began streaming on Netflix in 2023.

Speaking about the renewed popularity of the series at the time, Meghan said, “Good shows are everlasting.”
