Legal trouble surrounding a familiar face from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has officially come to an end.
Domestic violence charges against Veronica Rodriguez and her fiancé, Seth Daryoushfar, were dismissed earlier this month, according to North Carolina court records obtained by Us Weekly.
The case was officially dropped on Monday, January 12. The records indicate that the charges were not pursued further after neither party agreed to testify against the other.
The resolution closes a brief but highly publicized chapter for the couple, who were booked into a North Carolina jail on December 15 and later released on bond. Rodriguez posted a $500 bond, while Daryoushfar posted a $2,500 bond prior to his release. Both were ordered at the time to avoid contact that could be construed as threatening or harassing while the case was pending.
Rodriguez had been facing a misdemeanor domestic violence charge related to allegations that physical force was used during the incident. Daryoushfar was charged separately with assault on a female.
Court filings documented that each accused the other of physical harm during the altercation. With the charges now dismissed, no further court appearances are scheduled in the matter.
The situation unfolded against the backdrop of what had appeared publicly to be a celebratory period in Rodriguez’s life. Fans first met her in 2019 on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, followed by appearances on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk. She later returned to the franchise in 2022 on 90 Day: The Single Life, where viewers watched her split from longtime boyfriend Justin Foster.
After that breakup, Rodriguez briefly dated Jamal Menzies, the son of franchise alum Kim Menzies. She went public with Daryoushfar in January 2025, sharing glimpses of their relationship on Instagram. By September, the pair were engaged after a romantic proposal in Venice, Italy, where Daryoushfar proposed during a gondola ride.
