Reports claim Razvan Ciocoi and a new castmate were removed from filming in Puerto Rico — now the franchise’s vetting process is back under scrutiny.

A new controversy is unfolding within the 90 Day Fiancé universe, as two cast members connected to the upcoming second season of 90 Day: Hunt for Love have allegedly been removed from production following separate incidents involving racial slurs. While TLC has not publicly commented on the reports, the allegations have already sparked discussion among fans ahead of the dating spinoff's return.

According to CinemaBlend, production on Season 2 is currently underway in Puerto Rico. Franchise veteran Razvan Ciocoi, who is white, was reportedly sent home after allegedly directing a racial slur at fellow cast member Jamal Menzies, who is biracial. A separate report also alleges that newcomer Landon was removed from filming after an internal investigation into claims that he repeatedly used the n-word. As of this writing, the allegations remain unconfirmed by the network, and no official disciplinary details have been released.

90 Day: Hunt for Love is designed as a singles-focused spinoff that brings together familiar faces from across the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Rather than following international couples, the series places unattached cast members in a retreat-style setting where they pursue new romantic connections, navigate complicated dating dynamics, and revisit unresolved relationship baggage from past appearances.

Razvan is one of the more recognizable names linked to the rumored cast shakeup. He previously appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alongside Amanda Wilhelm during Season 6. Their relationship was short-lived, as both eventually decided the romance was progressing too quickly. His appearance on Hunt for Love was expected to mark his return to the franchise's dating scene.

The allegations have also revived memories of a previous controversy involving former franchise cast member Alina Kozhevnikova. TLC previously cut ties with Kozhevnikova after racist social media posts resurfaced, portions of her storyline were edited out of her season, and neither she nor her partner appeared on the tell-all reunion or were mentioned by the network thereafter. At the time, the network indicated it would strengthen its vetting process for future participants.

Unlike traditional 90 Day Fiancé seasons, where couples are largely filmed in separate storylines, Hunt for Love features cast members interacting with one another throughout group activities and social events.
