Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member Eric Rosenbrook has resolved part of the domestic violence case stemming from an alleged altercation with his wife, Leida Margaretha, after reaching a plea agreement that resulted in a misdemeanor battery charge being dropped.
According to court records obtained by Us Weekly, Rosenbrook pleaded guilty earlier this month to disorderly conduct tied to domestic abuse assessments. In exchange, prosecutors dismissed the battery charge connected to the July 2025 incident. The plea agreement requires Rosenbrook to remain law-abiding, stay sober, and avoid bars, except when he is there for work purposes, over the next 12 months. Court records state that violating the conditions could result in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
The case traces back to a July 4, 2025, dispute involving Rosenbrook and Margaretha, whom viewers first met during season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé. Police reports cited in the case alleged that Margaretha found Rosenbrook passed out inside his car outside an apartment complex before an argument escalated after the couple’s infant daughter was awakened.
Authorities said Margaretha accused Rosenbrook of slapping her during the confrontation and claimed he had abused her throughout their marriage.
Rosenbrook later acknowledged there had been a physical altercation. Speaking publicly after his arrest, he admitted he slapped Margaretha during the fight but maintained that their infant daughter, who Margaretha was reportedly holding at the time, was not struck or injured during the incident.
He initially pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct during a July 2025 court appearance before later accepting the plea agreement.
The Wisconsin-based couple became one of the more controversial pairings in the TLC franchise after cameras documented repeated tension within their household, including conflicts involving Rosenbrook’s children from a previous marriage.
Off-screen, the pair’s legal and financial problems have continued to mount. Margaretha is currently facing dozens of felony charges in a separate Wisconsin case involving allegations of wire fraud, forgery, theft, and bail jumping.
The domestic violence case unfolded during an already devastating period for the couple. Just days after the July 2025 altercation, Rosenbrook and Margaretha’s newborn daughter, Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, died after being hospitalized and placed on life support.
Rosenbrook later wrote on Facebook that the loss “destroys me and shatters my world.”
The child’s death remains under investigation. Earlier this year, an Adams County Health and Human Services assessment classified the infant’s death as “non-accidental” and stated there was “a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”
