The 90 Day Fiancé universe is officially heading into convention territory. TLC announced this week that the long-running reality franchise will launch its own fan event, called 90 Day Con, bringing cast members and superfans together for a multi-day experience centered around the hit series and its growing list of spinoffs.
According to People, the event will feature cast appearances, fan panels, interactive experiences, behind-the-scenes access, and live social media moments tied to the franchise. Warner Bros. Discovery described the convention as a way to take 90 Day Fiancé “far beyond the screen” while creating stronger connections between viewers and personalities from the series. TLC has not yet announced a location or exact dates for the event.
The 90 Day Fiancé brand has expanded well beyond relationship reality TV over the last decade. Since its 2014 premiere, the franchise has evolved into one of TLC’s biggest properties, spawning multiple spin-offs, including 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.
The series follows Americans navigating international relationships through the K-1 visa process, which requires couples to marry within 90 days after arriving in the United States.
TLC said the convention is expected to include “exclusive behind-the-scenes access, must-see panels, interactive fan experiences, live social moments, and surprise appearances.”
The network also promised that the event would bring the “drama, romance, and excitement” associated with the franchise into a live setting for attendees.
But the franchise’s growing pop-culture footprint has also brought renewed attention to some of its darker headlines. Former 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member Geoffrey Paschel was recently featured in Season 2 of the Netflix docuseries Worst Ex Ever.
Paschel was convicted in Tennessee on charges including aggravated kidnapping and domestic assault involving former fiancée Kristen Wilson Chapman.
Court records state that prosecutors accused him of violently attacking Chapman during a 2019 incident before disabling her phone and preventing her from calling for help. His conviction and 18-year prison sentence were later upheld on appeal.
