Pete Davidson made a joke at the expense of the artist formerly known as Kanye West during the Netflix roast of Kevin Hart, and it turns out the maligned multi-hyphenate was in the audience at the time.
As seen in a video obtained by TMZ, Ye attended the roast of Kevin Hart on Sunday (May 10) with his wife Bianca Censori and was seen from the back watching on when Davidson joked about him being a “gay Nazi” during his brief roast of controversial comedian Tony ‘Kill Tony’ Hinchcliffe. Ye did not appear to react strongly to the moment, and he seemingly didn’t laugh when Hinchcliffe later joked that the "closest Davidson got to greatness” was when he was in a relationship with Kim Kardashian and “rubbed up against some of Kanye’s old cum.”
In his brutal joke about Hinchcliffe, who appeared at a Donald Trump rally in 2024 and called Puerto Rico “a floating island of garbage,” Davidson compared the comedian to “a child molester and the doll they give the child to show where he touched them.”
“Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, in that he's definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat,” Davidson said before bringing up his feud with Ye when he dated the rapper’s ex-wife in 2021 and 2022. “Tony, nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings. I was in a beef with Kanye, so I’ve taken shots from better gay Nazis.”
Ye had a wildly controversial few years leading up to his full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal earlier this year, in which he apologized for his antisemitism and vowed to “earn” forgiveness. In 2025, he released a since-removed track entitled “Cousins,” in which he rapped about performing oral sex on his male cousin when they were both children.
In his Wall Street Journal apology, he spoke extensively about his struggles with bipolar type-1 disorder and said that he “loves” the Jewish community.
