Across a series of bombshell posts shared on his Instagram Stories, Brooklyn Beckham alleged that his mother, Victoria Beckham, “hijacked” his first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz at their wedding in 2022.

The eldest child of Victoria and David Beckham shared a series of posts in which he accused his parents of trying to “ruin” his marriage, including the ways they allegedly tried to intervene in the lead-up to their wedding. He accused Victoria of cancelling plans for Nicola’s dress to be made at “the eleventh despite how excited she was to wear her design,” and how they “pressured and attempted” to “bribe” him into “signing away the rights to my name.”

He said that, on the night before their wedding, various members of his family told him that Nicola “was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family.’” He alleged that he was on the receiving end of “attacks” from his parents, "both privately and publicly,” and that his mum called him “evil” at their wedding.

“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” he wrote. ”In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

As a result of the experience, he said that he and his wife sought to renew their vows. “We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment," he added. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family.”

In the posts, he indicated that he was not seeking to “reconcile” with his parents. His allegations against his parents arrived just weeks after David Beckham shared a New Year’s Eve post that failed to mention or feature Brooklyn, but featured their three other children: Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

As seen in a brief clip from Sky News, featured below, David avoided answering questions about Brooklyn’s posts about the family rift.
