Desmond Scott says he’s “back in the kitchen” in the wake of his divorce drama from Kristy Sarah Scott.

In a new video shared to his Instagram on Sunday (Jan. 18), the professional chef and influencer is seen furnishing a kitchen.

The clips cut to Desmond, 32, positioning a wooden cutting board, arranging utensils, placing pots and pans in a cabinet, shopping for groceries, and later overlooking his kitchen, seemingly taking in his situation. The one-minute clip is soundtracked to ASAP Rocky’s “Stay Here 4 Life” from his new album, Don’t Be Dumb. You can view it here.

"Back in the kitchen this week😏," he captioned the post. In a separate comment, he added, "Also, I’ve read every message and yall have no idea how much ya boy love yall 🫶🏽🙂‍↕️."

Kristy, 30, filed for divorce from Desmond on Dec. 30, citing alleged infidelity and that there was no reasonable chance for reconciliation, according to Texas court documents reviewed by TMZ.

The Scotts, who built their online brand around joint family content, renovations, and pranks, first met as teenagers, tied the knot in 2014, and share two minor sons named Vance and Westin.

After news of their split made headlines, Desmond posted an apology to his Instagram Story. Although he did not specifically mention any infidelity in the post, Desmond admitted he and Kristy “faced challenges” in their relationship in which he “made sincere efforts to work through them.”

“Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” he added. “I ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I'm grateful for that support and will continue sharing my love for cooking and the things that inspire me. I hope you'll continue that journey with me," Desmond concluded.

The former couple also share a wedding videography company, Meant To Be Films, though its future remains unclear.

Kristy, in her social media posts, appeared to imply that she would be keeping the house the couple once shared. In an Instagram carousel shared last Wednesday (Jan. 14), the influencer posed in a number of photos taken throughout the residence, including the kitchen, along with the caption: “same address.”

Days earlier, Desmond was spotted at a Houston bar making out with a woman who was later identified as 24-year-old Marissa Springer.

A source told TMZ that the two met earlier that night at the bar through a mutual friend. Springer reportedly was unaware of Desmond’s online fame and was supposedly under the impression that he was single at the time.
