The Scotts, a popular couple known for their viral social media content, are officially calling it quits.

Kristy Scott filed for divorce from Desmond Scott in Harris County, Texas on December 30 of last year, citing alleged infidelity and stating it wiped out any reasonable chance of reconciliation, according to court documents reviewed by TMZ. The paperwork also reportedly indicated the couple would soon stop living together as husband and wife.

The Scotts also share a wedding videography company, Meant To Be Films, though its future remains unclear.

After news of their split made headlines, Desmond posted an apology to his Instagram Story.

"I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,” he wrote on Saturday (Jan. 10). “I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I'm truly sorry for the hurt it has caused. Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.”

Further into his statement, Desmond admitted that he and Kristy “faced challenges” in their relationship in which he “made sincere efforts to work through them.”

“Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce,” he added. “I ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I'm grateful for that support and will continue sharing my love for cooking and the things that inspire me. I hope you'll continue that journey with me," Desmond concluded.

The pair met at age 14, married in 2014, share two minor sons named Vance and Westin, and built a large online brand around joint family content, renovations and pranks.

At the time of their tenth anniversary in the summer of 2024, the couple told People in a joint comment, "We have been best friends since teenagers and that's never changed. We focus on genuinely having fun, constantly laughing, keeping things light and spontaneous and finding humor in everyday life. 10 years flew by, we've literally grown up together and navigated life together."

Their last joint post, uploaded in early December, featured Kristy jokingly modeling as a Labubu while Desmond stood in the background.
