Kim Kardashian Says Wesley Snipes ‘Saved’ Her After Clubbing in NYC, Then Scolded Her Over Breakfast

Kardashian recalls being stranded in New York at 17 and getting unexpected help and guidance from Snipes.

Kim Kardashian is recalling the time Wesley Snipes “saved” her life.

She recalled the epic story in the second part of her interview with sister Khloé for her Khloé in Wonderland podcast.

At the 21-minute mark in the video linked above, Kim explained that when she was about 17, she traveled to New York with friends and found herself in unfamiliar territory.

“I went to New York once before with my dad, but never like on the party scene or anything. So, we all are at this club called Life — I remember it was like the place to be," Kim said, saying that her friend’s plans shifted suddenly as the night unfolded.

“We were at a club and then everyone's like, 'Oh my gosh, let's go back to like our friend's house for a party, and so my friend Sarah Howard, she wrote on my hand her dad's address and was like, 'If we lose each other, this is the address,” she said. “So then [Sarah] hands me a $20 bill 'cuz we were sharing a purse and was like, 'Here's for a cab in case you like in case we can't find each other," which she vaguely recalled stashing "in my dress strap or something, I don't know.”

The situation became frightening by early morning when Kim realized she was alone.

“I don't really know where anyone went at one point and everyone, like, I think had fallen asleep—it was so late,” she said, noting that her friend group had dinner at 11 p.m. and the club opened at 1 a.m. “I wasn't drinking. I definitely knew what was going on."

She continued, "So, at the end of the night, it's like 5 a.m., we're at this house party, no one to be found. [l] cannot find anyone. Don't have my money. — realize my $20 is gone. All I have is this address.”

Kim recalled weighing the option of walking out of the building to find a cab and “beg them” to take her to her friend Sarah’s home. As fate would have it, Kim found herself crossing paths with the actor on her way out.

“I'm walking out, and I don't know if Wesley Snipes lived in the building or what, but he was there," she said, “We were passing each other, and I was like, 'Hi, sir. … I'm so sorry to interrupt your night, but do you think you can give me a ride home?’”

Snipes apparently agreed, but on the condition that they make a stop for breakfast. Kim admitted she was “probably terrified," but noted he was not “giving off any creepy vibes.”

Over breakfast, Snipes apparently began "schooling me like he's my father," including the warning, "I don't know how old you are, but you're too young to be out this late. You're too young to be at parties... You shouldn't be out at the clubs. You shouldn't be at these things. I'm going to take you home, and I never want to see you out at these things until you're old enough."

Looking back, Kardashian reflected, "I've never seen him again.”

She added "He saved my life. He schooled the shit out of me. Scared me to death [about] being at club because [after] I'm like, 'Oh, I'll never be at a club again.’”

Kim concluded by saying she still hopes to thank him someday as the "teenage girl in New York that you took to a cafe."

"Shout out to Wesley Snipes," she added. "I hope this message gets to you that you are a lifesaver!"
