The wait is almost over. Fans now know when they can expect the long-awaited third season of Euphoria.

On Wednesday, December 3, HBO revealed the first promotional poster for the hit Gen-Z drama. On the poster, Zendaya is seen as her character, recovering drug addict Rue Bennett, in the passenger seat of a car, rocking her signature look — an oversized jacket and black high-top Converse.

Also on the poster, viewers see a premiere date of April 2026, which comes just over four years after the second season ended.

Not much else is known about the third season, however some lucky fans reportedly got a first look at a trailer during an HBO promotional event in Brazil.

Showrunner Sam Levinson — as well as several other cast and crew members — has previously discussed that there will be a time jump.

According to people who claimed to be in attendance at the Brazil event, Rue is still thought to be using drugs and is evidently on the run from drug dealers. Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) was said to be an OnlyFans content creator and married to Nate (Jacob Elordi). Jules (Hunter Schafer) will allegedly be a sugar baby, and Maddie (Alexa Demie) was said to be disapproving of that kind of lifestyle.

Joining the season 3 cast are singer Rosalía, Sharon Stone, Natasha Lyonne, Sam Trammell, and Danielle Deadwyler. Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, and Anna Van Patten were also reported to have joined the cast earlier this year. Not much is known about their roles.

Set to return in recurring capacities are Martha Kelly as the terrifying drug supplier Laurie, Colman Domingo as Rue’s sponsor Ali, and Nika King as Rue’s mother, Leslie Bennett.

While an exact date in April has not been confirmed, new episodes will air weekly on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.
