Yaya Mayweather has let it be known that she won’t be reconciling her relationship with NBA YoungBoy anytime soon.
Earlier this week, the rapper's ex was spotted in a viral clip rapping along to one of his songs. A fan then reposted the video on X, writing: "She love her baby daddy more than he will ever love her and it’s sickening."
Not taking too kindly to the post, Mayweather responded by letting the X user and everyone else know that she’s just a fan of the music, nothing more.
"No i don’t want to still be with my child’s father, no i’m not still in love with him, no i’m not obsessed that ship has sailed," she wrote. "So can we please let that narrative go? i just enjoy the music like everyone else, that’s it nothing more to it. thanks for coming to my ted talk."
Mayweather, who's the daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Melissa Brim, is one of 10 women who have a child with the "Finest" rapper. The exes share a 4-year-old son, Kentrell DeSean Gaulden Jr., who's the fourth-youngest of YoungBoy's 13 children.
In February, NBA YoungBoy announced that he and his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle Hayes, welcomed the arrival of his 13th child.
He welcomed his first child, Kayden, with ex-girlfriend Nisha Keller, when he was 16. His sons Taylin and Kamiri were born months apart in 2017 to his former ex-girlfriends Trinia Loveless and Starr Dejanee. Dejanee had another son, Kamron, who YoungBoy decided to raise as his own. In 2019, he Jania Meshell welcomed their son Kacey
Armani, YB's first daughter, arrived in 2020, whom he had with Keller. Five months later, he and ex-girlfriend Drea Symone welcomed another daughter, Kodi. Then in 2021, the Baton Rouge rapper and Mayweather welcomed the arrival of Kentrell.
