Action Bronson has unveiled the first track from his upcoming eighth studio album, Planet Frog — listen to "Triceratops" below.
On Thursday night (April 23), after weeks of teasing, Bronsoliño finally dropped off the new Daringer-produced record which also features Lil Yachty and Paul Wall. The song is available to stream here.
"YOU HAVE NOW ENTERED PLANET FROG," the rapper wrote on Instagram when sharing news of the new track. Bronson shared the Chris Grosso-directed video for the new song on Friday morning (April 24).
A number of the New York rapper's peers took to the comments section of his post to share their excitement about the new record.
"UUUUUU HAVEEEE NOWWWW ENTERRRREDDDD 🌎🐸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," The Alchemist wrote, while Token told Bronson that he hadn't "been this happy in a long time" after learning of the collaboration.
While Bronson hasn't announced a release date for his new album, he did gave fans a sneak peek at what the artwork for the project will look like earlier this month.
On April 15, he shared some hand-painted art that features four green frogs surrounding one giant red and orange frog on a backdrop made up of what appears to be the stripes from an American flag.
Making it a point to let fans know that he didn’t use A.I. to create it, Bronson captioned his post: "DID ALLEN IVERSON DO THIS OR WAS IT BAKLAVA. EVERYTHING MADE BY MY HAND AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. *PLANET FROG* A NEW MUSICAL EXPLOSION PRESENTED BY ME. OTHER WORLDS HAVE BEEN SUMMONED. COMING SOON."
In March, Action Bronson sat down with Zohran Mamdani for an episode of Fuck That’s Delicious.
The pair met at a Yemeni restaurant called Jannat Aden, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn for Iftar, the evening meal to break fast during Ramadan. After Mamdani broke his fast with chai and dates, the pair sampled several classic Yemeni dishes, including grilled fish, lamb haneeth, salta, and chicken agda.
