Offset Says He and Quavo Making a TakeOff Tribute Album Is ’Not Impossible'

The rapper said if it happens it'll come after he and his former Migos groupmate have fully rebuilt their relationship.

Offset thinks there’s a chance he and Quavo will come together one day to make a tribute album honoring TakeOff.

Sitting down for an interview with Ebro Darden for Apple Music, he was asked about the possibility of he and his former Migos groupmate joining forces to celebrate their fallen brother.

Offering a glimmer of hope to fans, Offset, with a smile on his face responded: "It’s possible. It’s not impossible."

He then added: "There’s no conversations about that though, but we’re just building each other first. We’re checking on each other."

Earlier this month, Offset spoke on his and Quavo's issues on the 7PM in Brooklyn With Carmelo Anthony podcast. During the conversation, he expressed that they frequently “holla at each other” and were no longer feuding.

"It be the internet trying to do some old shit, but with us, it ain't about that. Like, we holla at each other," Offset said. "We gotta holla at each other in the day, at the end of the day, man. That's family at the end of the day, man. You're gonna bump heads with your family sometime. In the day, a n***a ain't finna play with him, or a n***a ain't finna play with me."

"Gotta celebrate him. Any bullshit get put aside about bruh. Because he was the glue," Offset continued. "He was the one who keep our head straight when we were trying to — you know how that shit be, man? The three of us n***as think one way, one way. He always was the n***a that was the medium."

In July, Jermaine Dupri revealed that he believes Quavo and Offset are better as a group than they are being solo artists — so he pushed, like many have, for the two to officially reconcile on wax .

"That hurt a lot of the city, period," JD explained. "The Migos breaking up was a bad situation for Atlanta because they was moving — and I think they’re better together anyway, me personally."
