Quavo and Offset are honoring Takeoff's memory on the second anniversary of his death.
On Thursday, Quavo took to his Instagram Story to post a photo of him and Takeoff, writing, “Forever in our hearts.”
Q also shared photos of them to his feed, captioning the series, “Til Infinity.”
Set similarly paid tribute to the late Migos member with a handful of photos on his IG Story.
In the early morning of Nov. 1, 2022, Takeoff was fatally shot outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. He was 28 years old at the time. Quavo and Takeoff were together at the time of the shooting, though Quavo didn’t sustain any injuries. Authorities later arrested and charged a man named Patrick Xavier Clark with murder, and he pleaded not guilty.
Quavo and Offset were at odds with one another before Takeoff’s death, and even after. However, the artists recently squashed their issues following Rich Homie Quan’s tragic passing in early September. Soon after Quan’s death, Quavo shared via his IG Story that he and Offset had settled their differences. “Good convo with my bro,” Quavo wrote.
