DDG’s latest appearance on Wild’n Out took a personal turn during his rap battle with Nick Cannon.

The rapper and streamer, who’s appeared on the show before, got into a comedic freestyle battle with Cannon. Cannon kicked off the battle with a playful jab at DDG being a streamer, telling him, “You can stream these nuts.”

Cannon relayed to the audience that the joke was all in good fun, explaining afterward, “I’m jealous because y’all are making more money than me, that’s all.”

After Cannon’s bar, DDG decided to bring up Nick’s kids, a common joke topic on the show.

“Nick doing this show to pay child support / But he really should wild’n abort,” he rapped.

Once DDG went there, Cannon decided to go even deeper.

“Talk about my kids, yeah that’s fine / But at least my baby mama let’s me see mine,” he rapped, referencing DDG’s parental and visitation struggles with Halle Bailey the mother of his son Halo. The look on the streamer’s face made it clear that he didn’t appreciate the joke.

DDG eventually responded with two different lines, the second a bit more disrespectful than the first.

“You like 60 plus, and still not married / We don’t know shit about you but Mariah Carey,” DDG rapped first.

“I can see my kid, but you can’t see yours / You got like 20 kids—all yo baby mamas are whores,” he followed up. Instead of being offended, Cannon responded by saying, “Not all of them.”

Check out the back-and-forth in DDG’s livestream, around the four-minute, 10-second mark of the episode below.

DDG and Bailey came to a temporary settlement in their custody battle last October when they agreed to co-parent Halo and dropped their respective domestic violence restraining order requests.

That month, DDG released a song called “17 More Years” in which he seemingly addressed Bailey and the situation, rapping “I don’t wanna fight no more,” and, “You are a good mom.”
