DDG wished his followers a happy Father’s Day amid his ongoing custody battle with Halle Bailey, but it didn't go exactly according to plan.

“Happy father’s day to all the active dads worldwide,” he wrote on X on Sunday.

The tweet wasn’t received positively by everyone. After push back from other X users, DDG returned to say, “Most of the people who quoted this dad didn’t want them & walked out of there life so they are project. It’s gon be okay, it’s just one day.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “I got a hour left on this flight, i’m finna cook these n***as 1 by 1 til i land.”

He then slammed a handful of users.

DDG and his ex Bailey have been in a custody battle over their son, Halo. Earlier this month, the YouTuber and rapper compared himself to Michael Jackson because of all the attention he's been getting lately.

"Now I know how Michael Jackson felt being famous," DDG wrote, "Shit crazy."

DDG recently filed a motion to prevent Bailey from leaving the country with Halo. A judge later denied the temporary restraining order, permitting her to travel to Italy with their son to film a movie project.

Bailey responded to her ex’s filing and said that he's failed to contribute “any regular support” since the birth of their child.

She said that he filed the motion as retribution, knowing for months that she had a work commitment, and went on to claim that he exaggerated the state of her mental health issues. She admitted that while she has previously suffered from suicidal thoughts, she’s since gone to therapy and isn’t a threat to their son.
